Your HKMLC smart board has no sound, so dont panic — you are not alone. Sound problems can arise due to wrong settings, connection problems, or software glitches. Use This Troubleshooting Guide to Fix or Get Your HKMLC Smart Board Audio Working
Before going on to advanced troubleshooting, make sure that the volume is up and not muted.
In some cases, use the remote control or on-screen buttons to adjust the volume.
We need to move to the next step if we see the volume bar moving but don’t hear anything.
We look at the new HKMLC smart boards that come with advanced audio technology.
Multiple audio output options are available in your HKMLC smart board. Make sure the right one is chosen:
System Settings > Sound > Output Device
Choose Built-in Speakers for the board’s internal audio.
If you have a speaker connected externally, check power and connections.
If sound is not playing sometimes within a specific app or for a particular file:
Play audio from other apps, for example, YouTube, a local media file, or an online meeting.
If sound works in one app but not in another, the problem could be particular to that app.
If the cables are loose or damaged, no sound will play:
Plug any HDMI, USB or AUX cables back in.
If there are no more ports can you try them?
And if you are using an external device, check if its sound output is muted or very low.

Temporary software glitches can be solved by rebooting the system:
Switch off the HKMLC smart board, wait for 10 seconds, and switch it on again
Make sure to test for the sound problem and see if it is.
Old drivers can lead to sound problems:
Settings > System Updates
Make sure install the available update and reboot the device.
If updating doesn't work, reset the audio driver to default.
You may have disabled internal audio if your board is connected to an external Bluetooth speaker:
Open the Settings, tap on Bluetooth, and unpair any devices.
Listen to the sound again through the built-in speakers.
Some power saving settings may mute or turn down the volume:
Make sure you check at the power mode on system settings > transition on standard mode.
Make sure that a silent mode is not set on the HKMLC smart board, if available.
