Setting Up USB Lock and Unlock:

Enable USB Lock: To activate the USB lock feature, access the smart board’s settings and turn on the USB lock option within the security settings.

Password Setup: For the USB lock to function, a pattern or digital password must be set up initially through user management. This setup provides an additional layer of security and ensures that the USB key cannot be bypassed.

Using the USB Key: Insert the configured USB key into the smart board’s USB slot to lock or unlock the screen. The board will automatically lock when the USB is removed and unlock when it is reinserted.

Additional Security Features:

USB Permissions: Control third-party application access to USB drives connected to the smart board to prevent unauthorized data retrieval or malware introduction.

Channel and Application Locks: Restrict access to specific inputs and applications, ensuring that sensitive content or settings cannot be altered without proper authorization.

Installation Controls: Manage the installation of third-party applications by enabling or disabling the ability to install from unknown sources, protecting the system from unverified apps.

User Profile Management:

Multi-User Access: The USB lock feature supports multiple user profiles, allowing each user to have a unique setup and access level. Switching between profiles, like guest and admin, can be done effortlessly, with each profile maintaining its privacy settings and access restrictions.

Profile-Specific Restrictions: When in guest mode or a restricted profile, users are limited to accessing only pre-approved applications and files, ensuring that personal or sensitive information remains confidential.
