We designed the HKMLC board to be an intuitive, user-friendly tool that anyone can start using immediately for their next project. It functions much like an oversized digital tablet, offering a familiar and comfortable experience for users of all skill levels.

The HKMLC board doesn’t require additional computers, projectors, or calibration. It’s not only easy to learn but also enjoyable to use! We offer complimentary onboarding training sessions to help you get started, and you can always explore the latest updates on our video tutorials or in our knowledge base.
Yes, you can import images, PowerPoint presentations, and PDF files into the HKMLC whiteboard. The board supports these file formats, allowing you to easily integrate and work with various types of content during your sessions.
There are several ways to share your HKMLC Smart Board content with remote students:

1. Screen Sharing During Video Calls: b Join or host a video call using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet from the HKMLC Smart Board, and then share your screen. Students will be able to view all content displayed on the board.
2. Sharing Links: You can share a link to your HKMLC Canvas with students. They can use this link to view and interact with the content on the whiteboard in real-time. Note that this option only allows students to see content within the HKMLC Board app; content from screencasts or third-party apps won’t be visible.
3. Export and Share: If real-time interaction isn’t possible, you can export your HKMLC Board content as a PDF and share the file with students after class.
Yes, students can interact with the whiteboard in real-time even if they don’t have an HKMLC Board. The board's cloud-based platform is accessible via any web browser or tablet. By sharing a link to your HKMLC Canvas, students can join the session and interact with the content from their own devices.
The HKMLC Smart Board supports many popular educational apps, including Canvas, Google Classroom, Blackboard, and Flipgrid. We continually update our list of supported apps, so be sure to check out our comprehensive list and let us know if you have any suggestions.

Pro Tip: If you're tech-savvy, you can also enable the Google Play Store on your HKMLC Smart Board to explore and install additional third-party apps.
A projector is not required for the HKMLC board. However, if you need to display your HKMLC Board content on a larger screen or monitor (such as in an auditorium or large conference room), you can connect the HKMLC Smart Board to larger monitors or projectors using the HDMI Out port.
