This allows users to save energy which also increases their user experience and increases the lifetime of the device. Sleep settings, what they are based on, energy saving modes, disabling the automatic keyboard ''shut down'' when it has not been used for a certain period of time and many other useful things will help keep the power used to a ''low'' value and they will help to optimise performance. (Here’s how to prepare yourself for this most successfully.)
To modify anything, you need to open the Power Settings Menu first:
Your HKMLC Smart board should be on and at the Main screen.
Go to System Settings → Power Settings.
You’ll find options for sleep mode, auto-shutdown, or power-saving settings here.

Auto mode adjusts the screen brightness depending on the ambient lighting.
To get the HKMLC smart board to turn on and off at certain times:
Power Settings > Schedule Power On/Off
Configure the On and Off Times as necessary.
These are perfect for planned lessons or meetings.
Switch to an HKMLC board, which is smart and can be scheduled.
To reduce energy usage without sacrificing readiness of the board:
Set Power Settings to allow Low Power Standby.
This rapid wake-up time is combined with very low current consumption.
If power settings are incorrect, restore them to factory defaults:
In System Settings, click Restore Defaults.
Select & confirm this, and reboot if required.
Once all the settings are configured:
Click Save Changes.
Exit the Power Settings menu.
Your smart board will operate under these settings that you have optimized.
Some of the changes will need a restart:
Press and hold the Power button, then click Restart.
After reborading you should check that your settings have been properly applied.
